Hello

  • Revisiting our first home
  • Touing Greystone
  • Having a beach picnic
The Atlantic Ocean is to the right, just one house away.

We lived in this cottage 25 years ago when we got married on the beach -- September 28, 1974.

It was sunrise. Everyone was barefooted except the minister. Although he wasn't feeling the sand between his toes, he performed our novel ceremony enthusiastically.

This little Lion Dog guards the steps at Greystone Mansion where Michael-R lives.
Here's Kath with Michael-R -- truly, Mister Charming.

Our whole trip East was exceptional. But hiking and hanging out with Michael was something special I've never gotten to do before.

I enjoyed it!

This painting was already spoken for. It was one I would like to have hanging in our house.

It's a joyful expression of a great spirit.

Outclassing, as Kath pointed out, the sombre masterspieces Michael bought for himself over the years while he owned a fine-arts gallery in Philadelphia.

This is the beach picnic on our last night in Virginia.

The reason I got to be in the picture is that Michael volunteered to act as cameraman.

Kath and Elizabeth had a great talk.

Elizabeth draws, paints, and creates small scultures. The galleries she shows in want more than she's been able to produce. So she's decided to be a full-time artist, and give up teaching.

She let us select a print. And I'm putting my order in to buy a sculpture.

Joshua's 22nd birthday in on the same day as our 25th wedding anniversary. Another right-brained compatriot, he's serious about finding ways to live a quality life.

John's almost through with med school. He says he seems to have a greater need for rest than some of his 28-year-old peers.

He'll be a GP and I'd like to live close so we can have a doc we trust.

Teddy -- mercy!!!

He was my roommate at A.R.E. back in '68 when we both first came to the beach.

What wild STUFF were the two of us discussing? I just wonder how the Internet will react to his amazing bursts of creative energy.

Pelicans glided past.

Distinct sub-groups creating a unified formation.
