Come on in . .
Cause Zack puts on an entertaining show.

He's often accompanied -- sometimes suspiciously -- by the birds of Sandbridge.

Our hosts for the Virginia Beach part of this great trip were Zack's parents -- Lou Ann and Michael-V.
Sure, we enjoy conversing with them over the phone. But it's more fun talking while walking on the beach or while enjoying one of Micheal's dried-tomatoed garnished salads.
More conducive to sharing dreams.

| Two years ago, they were living down the road from us in Santa Fe.
I had a radio show there.
Michael-V taped a series of spots we played on each show. Lou Ann was my cohost. Kath was the show's producer.

Now Michael manages a restaurant, often volunteering to work extra shifts.
While we were visiting, he walked to the mail box asking for a sign: if the Universe didn't think he should be working so many long hours, let there be a check for him in the mailbox.
He found TWO checks for him -- AND another for Lou Ann!
|
| Near where Lou Ann and Michael now live, there used to be a magical pond full of water lilies. Years ago, I liked to photogragh it.
As we drove by the pond I looked for the lilies, but they were gone.
It was a nice surprise to find this one growing in a fountain on the farm.
